The video uses Little Red Riding Hood to explain that confirming people you aren’t sure about will give them access to your personal details. Suddenly that status update declaring your going to visit Grandma, could result in a nasty surprise.

Officially Facebook profiles cant be set up by anyone under the age of 13. However, the social network kicks 20,000 boys and girls who are under the age of 13, off Facebook every single day. Even by Facebook’s own admission their practices to finding underage users are not perfect, so who knows how many underage users there actually are on Facebook. Ignoring this issue won’t make it go away, but providing the resources to educate this underage audience can only help make them more aware of what they do online.
